The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) has promoted Charlene Lopez to Director of Citywide Sales. Lopez will lead sales initiatives for events requiring multiple hotel properties and space within the two major convention centers in downtown Atlanta. Lopez joined ACVB in June 2012 as Sales Manager, National Accounts, focusing on association and corporate business. Her career includes sales management positions with Omni Hotel at CNN Center, Hyatt Regency Atlanta and Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa.
