Oceanside, CA – Trade Show Executive (TSE) announced the addition of three experienced members of the exhibition-industry media to its editorial and sales staff.

Dana Myers, formerly of Tradeshow Week, was named to the newly created position of managing editor of TSE, and former EXPO editor and publisher Danica Tormohlen joined the editorial staff as a contributing editor, responsible for a series of new specialized supplements on registration, medical shows and other subjects. Quentin Chan will represent TSE in Asia as head of business development and advertising and sponsorship sales in that region.

Myers will be responsible for the editorial content and production of TSE’s four directories and will also manage the daily workflow of TSE’s monthly magazine,  Eclips® Breaking News and the TSE website.  Myers has 12 years of editorial and marketing experience. As managing editor of Tradeshow Week (TSW) for six years, she oversaw production of The TSW Data Book, the TSW Buyer’s Guide and Tradeshow 200. She also conducted research, wrote features for the magazine and web site, and managed the editorial staff. Prior to that, she was the editor of Dream Homes magazine and a marketing coordinator at Uniworld.

Tormohlen has been a respected professional in the exhibition industry ever since she joined EXPO in 1994 as an assistant editor and moved up the ladder to the publisher’s office. She was most recently a contributing editor for the magazine. Her career has included a Folio: Eddie Award for Editorial Excellence in the travel and hospitality category, and an award for best web site redesign from min’s btob.

Tormohlen, who will be based in the Kansas City area, has also spoken at industry events and has served on various committees for the International Association of Exhibitions and Events including education and public relations.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to continue working in the industry that I love and I am really looking forward to working with the staff at Trade Show Executive,” Tormohlen said, “I hope to use my 16 years of industry experience and my industry contacts to enhance TSE’s outstanding editorial product.”

Also joining the TSE staff is Quentin Chan, who will head up business development for TSE in Asia, focusing on the Gold Gala Asia to be launched in 2011 and advertising sales in TSE print and electronic media. Chan is a former Reed Business Information executive who was the business development director for numerous Reed publications including Tradeshow Week. Chan will report to Darlene Gudea, president and Diane Bjorklund, vice president of events.

“The addition of the Dana, Danica and Quentin to the Trade Show Executive team further strengthens our ability to offer new directories, supplements and events in the U.S. and abroad,” said Darlene Gudea, president of Trade Show Executive Media Group. “We are proud to have these professionals on our team as we enter another year of strong growth,” she said.
