CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) garnered awards and recognition in the 2023 Tabbie Awards, an international journalism competition created by Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI).
The Tabbie Awards recognize excellence in trade, association and business publications from around the world.
“It is a great honor to be recognized internationally for our coverage by TABPI’s annual Tabbies, as we strive to provide the best in editorial content and research to our readers. We are also thankful for our highly engaged audience and experts, because without them and their voices, we wouldn’t have such rich content,” TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief Gabrielle Weiss said. “These accolades are a testament to the commitment we have to our readers and the trade show industry, as well as the hard work of the entire TSE team. To rank second in the world for TSE Dashboard is a huge deal and I commend Carri Jensen and her team for their hard work and this big win.”
Award-Winning Research
The TSE Dashboard in the December 2022 issue took home Silver in the 2023 Department category. The Dashboard covered the trade show industry’s solid comeback in Q3 2022, and the analysis of key show metrics showed a dynamic return for trade shows and events.
The TSE Dashboard is an analysis of industry performance and is published quarterly. Included in the research are tables of data and comparisons of shows year over year, providing highlights and averages of net square feet, number of exhibitors, total attendance and professional attendance for a well-rounded look at how shows are growing and the overall health of the trade show industry.
Global Recognition and Ranking
Ranking on the 2023 Best Single Issue: Top 25, which includes international publications, TSE’s December 2022 edition ranked No. 15, featuring Dennis Smith, Vice President, Business Development at AAHOA, and Chairperson of IAEE, on the cover. The edition also included the 2022 Women to Watch profile, the 2022 Q3 Dashboard from TSE’s research department and a feature on trends to watch for in 2023.
