Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 at CAESARS FORUM in 2020

HIL ANDERSON, SENIOR EDITOR

CHICAGO – Trade show organizers will get a firsthand look at one of the most anxiously awaited new venues in the industry next year when Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 Awards & Summit takes place at CAESARS FORUM in Las Vegas.

The 550,000-square foot (sf), $375 million conference center is under construction right now and will make its industry breakthrough debut in 2020 when the organizers of the fastest-growing trade shows in the nation convene next year for another week of education and honors at the Fastest 50.

“CAESARS FORUM is going to be a Las Vegas landmark for the exhibitions and events industry for years to come, and organizers will be getting their first look at this important new venue at the 2020 Fastest 50 Awards & Summit,” TSE Publisher and Editor Gabrielle Weiss said. “We are very excited to partner again with Caesars Entertainment for our next Fastest 50 Show. It is an exciting time to be in Las Vegas and we are thrilled to showcase all that it has to offer our industry.”

Being built in the sweet spot among three Caesars hotels, CAESARS FORUM will provide organizers with thousands of nearby upscale guest rooms, plus 300,000 sf of flexible meeting space that can be configured in a wide variety of layouts. The center is highlighted by two massive ballrooms and a 100,000-sf outdoor event and meeting area, the only one of its kind in Las Vegas.

The industry is already catching on to this promising new facility. Caesars announced this year that it had signed up more than 70 future meetings and events ranging from 500 to 8,000 attendees and booking a half-million room nights at the company’s various hotels. “We are looking forward to hosting Fastest 50 in 2020,” said Michael Massari, Chief Sales Officer for Caesars Entertainment. “Connected to 8,500 hotel rooms in three hotels and within walking distance to 20,000 total hotel rooms, CAESARS FORUM, which is opening next March, will be ideal for large events and trade shows.

The second Caesars venue to host the Fastest 50 in as many years, the CAESARS FORUM, the 2019 Fastest 50 Awards & Summit takes place June 18-20 at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, the site of the cutting-edge Waterfront Conference Center, one of the largest meeting halls on the East Coast. CAESARS FORUM is the latest and one of the best examples of Las Vegas’ ability to host smaller meetings and conferences as well as major trade shows and citywide conventions. The building is designed to host as many as 10,000 attendees at events requiring not only exhibit space, but a comprehensive menu of technology, exclusive atmosphere and rooms of different sizes and functions. Trade Show Executive will make good use of that flexibility in creating another top-tier program of socializing, networking, and education at the 2020 Fastest 50 Awards & Summit.

The compelling features of CAESARS FORUM include:

  • Two 110,000-sf pillarless ballrooms; two 40,000-sf ballrooms and six boardrooms
  • More than 100 breakout rooms laid out with more than two miles of airwall
  • Single-floor layout and nine loading docks to accommodate efficient move-in
  • LEED Silver certification
  • The FORUM Plaza, a 100,000-sf outdoor space ideal for receptions, wellness breaks and other gatherings

The new building is located adjacent to a trio of Caesars hotels: the LINQ Hotel & Casino, the Flamingo and Harrah’s Las Vegas. And there are five other Caesars hotels a short stroll away. Also next door is the LINQ Promenade shopping district, home to nearly 2,500 sf of additional meeting space, plus after-hours diversions including the Brooklyn Bowl bowling alley, the LINQ Zipline and the landmark High Roller observation wheel.

Construction is moving briskly at CAESARS FORUM and the campus is on schedule for opening day in 2020. The TSE Fastest 50 will be among the first guests and likely the first shot that show organizers will have to look around and kick the tires while also taking part in the industry’s annual celebration of the trade shows that made a difference in 2019.
