CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Women to Watch program. Launched in 2018, the Women to Watch program identifies and recognizes the next-gen leaders in the trade show industry. It also provides a platform for them to learn from top organizers at TSE’s prestigious Gold 100 Awards & Summit, gain exposure to topics driving the industry and they will be featured in an article in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
The Women to Watch are invited to attend the 2023 TSE Gold 100 Awards & Summit, taking place at the Fairmont Del Mar in San Diego, Calif., Sept. 13-15. By attending the event, the honorees will be able to mingle with the industry’s top executive leadership, participate in various networking opportunities and learn from their industry leaders during the TSE Educational Summit.
“The Women to Watch program is near and dear to me, and developing this initiative allows me to pay forward all the mentorship and guidance I received and that has helped me throughout my career,” TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief Gabrielle Weiss said. “At Trade Show Executive, we believe it’s imperative to recognize up-and-coming professionals and help foster connections with the top executive leadership, so that one day they too can be mentors and thought leaders in our industry. The TSE team is excited to review the nominations and to find out more about the rising stars in the trade show industry.”

TSE editors will select the honorees based on various criteria, including demonstrable leadership qualities, creativity, overall business acumen, integrity, problem-solving, fostering excellence in team members and mentorship, and having demonstrated a high level of excellence in show management. This is open to non-executive level staff of show management and is for those who have been in the industry for 2-10 years. Women working for independent show organizers and associations are eligible to be nominated.
