Trade Show Executive Earns Eleven Regional Azbee Awards of Excellence in B2B Journalism

CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive brought home eleven regional awards from the 2023 Azbee Awards of Excellence for the Upper Midwest. The Azbee Awards are given by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) and honor the best in B2B media by highlighting editorial and design excellence in magazines, newsletters and digital and social media. 

“How Coverings Mitigated and Overcame Supply Chain Challenges,” took home the Gold Award for the Case History category. Also winning in the Case History category, was “Making Less of an Impact – On the Environment That Is,” which was honored with the Regional Silver Award for its coverage of the National Retail Federation’s NFR 2022 sustainability efforts. From the TSE June 2022 issue, “The LGBTQ Trade Show Community Shines in its DE&I Efforts,” was awarded the Regional Silver Award in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion category, and the monthly “A Focus On,” column which focuses on our industry outside of the United States won the Regional Silver Award in the Regular Column, Contributed category.

TSE’s robust research garnered various awards, including “Keeping the Positivity Growing: Key Trade Show Metrics Continue to Rise,” the TSE Dashboard from September 2022, which won the Regional Silver Award in the Data Journalism category. The TSE Dashboard from December 2022 earned the Regional Silver Award in the Original Research category. “Upward Trend Emerges in Venue Construction,” from TSE’s Pardon Our Dust, and the 2022 Medical Show Report tied for the Regional Bronze Award for Original Research.   

Winning the Regional Bronze Award in the Q&A category was “Leadership and the Art of Big Data,” a TSE Power Lunch featuring RX CEO Hugh Jones. Earning the Regional Bronze Award in the Group Profile category was “Meet This Year’s Exceptional Women to Watch,” which highlights the 2022 Women to Watch program. The Weekly Editor’s Picks e-Newsletter won the Regional Bronze Award in the E-Newsletter – General Excellence category.
