CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) welcomes April Walsh to the team as Vice President, Sponsorship and Engagement.
In this role, Walsh will oversee multimedia sponsorships and drive engagement within the live events community. She will develop partnerships, content opportunities, and in-person experiences for Trade Show Executive magazine and its leading events: TSE’s Fastest 50 Awards & Summit and Gold 100 Awards & Summit.
Prior to joining TSE, Walsh served as Vice President, US Vet and New Ventures at CloserStill Media, where she provided leadership, strategic and commercial direction. She used market trends, forecasts, consumer insights and data to drive revenue growth and build customer relationships within the veterinary industry while developing marketing, content, sales, operations, and customer success teams.
Walsh has an extensive background in the events industry, starting her career at Freeman developing disciplines in marketing, communications and agency services. While at Freeman, Walsh championed the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for Freeman’s B2B customers which contributed to increased demand generation and revenue growth.
This announcement positions TSE to deliver on the commitment to editorial and event excellence. This past year, TSE celebrated growth with the promotion of Maddy Ryley from Senior Associate Editor to Managing Editor. TSE also appointed Andrew Warrick as Digital Associate Editor and Sara Gebhardt as the Event Planner for the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit and the Gold 100 Awards & Summit.
