CHICAGO – On Thursday, honorees on TSE’s Fastest 50 and Next 50 lists were alerted that the events team had worked with all sponsors including their title sponsor, Caesars Entertainment as well as their Platinum sponsors Experientand Complete Show Services to lay out an alternative plan for the event to go forward from July 8-10 citing an abundance of preparedness during the COVID-19 crisis. TSE VP & Editor-in-Chief, Gabrielle Weiss explained that their “traditional and informal Chairman’s dinner hosted by TSE’s Chairman Rick Simon will be held July 7.”

Weiss said, “I think it is more important than ever to go forward with our Fastest 50 Awards & Summit. That’s why we have worked with our partners to develop a contingency plan for our May event.”

Honorees were assured that as the media group takes into consideration the direction of the CDC, local officials and their event partners, that they remain steadfast that the annual event celebrating the country’s fastest growing trade shows will be held as scheduled in May. “Our intention is to recognize your achievements against the backdrop of the new Caesars FORUM and Harrah’s Las Vegas $140 million renovation as we bring in peer-led, thought-provoking and timely content to meet head-on the challenges we face together as an industry,” said Weiss.

If the event does move to the July dates, attendees can expect the same program including the event venue, headquarter hotel and the opening reception at the stunning Nobu Villa. Weiss explained, “If we must move to July, please know that we have done our utmost to think of every detail to make for a seamless transition in order to maintain the high standard that is the hallmark of our Trade Show Executive brand and events portfolio.”

Weiss encouraged honorees to register noting the importance of harnessing the opportunity to unite and discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the COVID-19 crisis, saying “this is an important opportunity to meet and support each other, share best practices and lessons learned, and recognize the innovation and growth you have brought to your shows as we carve a path forward for our trade show industry.”
