CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive revealed this year’s Gold 100 honoree list, which recognizes the 100 largest trade shows in the U.S. that took place in 2022. During TSE’s Gold 100 Awards & Summit, taking place Sept. 13-15 at the Fairmont Del Mar in San Diego, Calif., the rankings of the shows will be unveiled.

“A heartfelt congratulations to all the honorees. Their win was a massive undertaking in 2022 and we look forward to celebrating these honorees in September. After our record-breaking Fastest 50 class of 2022, we are excited to recognize and celebrate the trade shows that represent the biggest and best of our industry with our Gold 100 program,” TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief Gabrielle Weiss said. “It’s clear our industry’s rebound is in full swing. We are all excited to see these longstanding, iconic shows continue to make the Gold 100 list and to add some new names to the ranks. And as we convene top industry leaders to recognize their teams and their shows, we will capitalize on this brain trust to discuss concepts, ideas and case studies that will launch our industry well into the future at our educational summit preceding our red-carpet gala. This will be an event not to be missed.”

Gold 100 honorees include JCK, MODEX, ISSA Show North America and NATDA Trailer Show, among many other iconic trade shows, such as World of Concrete, CES and SEMA Show.

The Gold 100 are ranked by net square feet of paid exhibit space, and the collective total for all the Gold 100 shows was 35,064,651 nsf. The overall total of exhibiting companies was 88,018, and the overall attendance for the shows that reported the metric totaled 2,419,478 attendees. Based on the $36.61 average space rate, the Gold 100 shows featured nearly $1.3 billion of exhibit space.
