Trade Show Executive Announces 2023 Women to Watch

CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) announced the 2023 Women to Watch, a group of nine outstanding women up-and-comers to keep an eye on. 

This year’s Women to Watch are: 

  • Christina Henderson, Executive Director, Diversified Communications 
  • Stephanie Beringhele, VIP Buyer Relations Director, ASD Market Week, Emerald 
  • April Walsh, Vice President U.S. Vet and New Ventures, CloserStill Media 
  • Amanda Gochee, Vice President of Marketing Strategy, Clarion Events 
  • Samantha Moore, CMP, CEM, Senior Director, Meetings & Education, American Bakers Association 
  • Jennifer Rosen, Group Marketing Director – Wellness (Beauty, Spa, Fitness, Travel) Division, Questex 
  • Jacy Barker, Senior Director, Marketing Services, RX Global 
  • Edwina Kulego, Vice President of International and Men’s Fashion, Informa Markets Fashion 
  • Jill Cunningham, Vice President of Apparel Leasing, Dallas Market Center 

The Women to Watch program was launched in 2018 to recognize the next –gen women leaders in the trade show and exhibition industry. Recipients were nominated by industry peers and were judged by TSE’s editorial team based on various criteria. The 2023 Women to Watch demonstrated leadership qualities, creativity, problem-solving skills and a high level of excellence in trade show management.

With this prestigious program, TSE’s Women to Watch are invited to TSE’s Gold 100 Awards & Summit, taking place Sept. 13-15 at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, where they will step into the spotlight on the main stage at the gala to receive well-deserved recognition from industry peers and be awarded their crystal trophies. 

“The number of submissions this year was significant. The talent in our ranks cannot be overstated. I am elated at the program’s success as we continue to refine and improve it. After all, developing this initiative allows me to pay forward all the mentorship and guidance I received which that has helped me throughout my career,” TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief Gabrielle Weiss said. “At TSE, we believe it’s imperative to recognize up-and-coming professionals and help foster connections with the top executive leadership, and provide a platform for them to learn and help them on their way as they too become mentors and thought leaders in our industry. The TSE team is excited for this year’s Women to Watch to join us at our Gold 100 Awards & Summit to be recognized as the rising stars they are.”
