Tom Mobley Becomes CIC Chairman

McLean, VA – The Convention Industry Council announced today that Tom Mobley, Jr., General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Washington Convention Center, has moved up from Vice Chair to Chairman of the Board of the Convention Industry Council (CIC). He  replaces Michael Bandy, Partner of Bandy & Associates, Inc., who has served as Chair since January 1, 2005.  Bandy’s recent departure as President of the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) prompted the change.
