RIYADHTahaluf, a strategic alliance between Informa PLC and the Saudi Arabian Federation for Cyber Security and Programming (SAFCSP), is celebrating two successful trade shows: Cityscape Global and the Global Health Exhibition.

“Tahaluf — the Arabic word for alliance — reflects the strength of the partnership between SAFCSP and Informa and our plans to work closely together in this next stage of developing world-class events for Saudi Arabia,” Faisal Al-Khamisi, Chairman of SAFCSP, said.

Cityscape Global: Building Tomorrow’s Cities

Cityscape Global, said to be the world’s largest real estate exhibition, was held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center. It included more than 172,000 attendees and 426 exhibitors over four days and real estate transactions worth more than $61.3 billion were closed. International participants made up 47% of the group. This $61.3 billion worth of business closed is more than double that of last year’s show.

In addition, the exhibition’s floorspace grew 61% year-on-year, spanning 121,000 gross square-meters equivalent to 97 Olympic-sized swimming pools. The 426 exhibiting companies was a 37% increase over 2023, with international exhibitors also growing by 47%.

About 550 speakers from more than 50 countries, including top experts and industry leaders were featured.

“The volume of investments and agreements, besides the active participation from both local and international stakeholders, underscores the sector’s ongoing growth and aligns with the ministry’s strategic objectives within Saudi Vision 2030,” Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al Hogail said.

The Global Health Exhibition: Driving Medical Innovation

Meanwhile, the Global Health Exhibition, also held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, spotlighted the latest advancements in healthcare technology and innovation. With a strong focus on digital health, biotech and sustainable medical practices, the event attracted 105,000 attendees that included healthcare leaders, innovators and policymakers from across the globe.

Interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities allowed participants to explore topics such as AI in healthcare, breakthroughs in pharmaceuticals, and strategies for improving global health equity. The event underscored Saudi Arabia’s owing influence in the global healthcare sector, positioning it as a hub for medical innovation.

The Exhibition also saw a 72% increase in international attendance from over 138 countries. It featured 1,240 exhibiting brands, four times more than last year, with more than 50% of those brands being international.

“Cultivating the next generation of healthcare talent is a defining goal of Global Health Exhibition, and the exceptional skill and ability shown across the high number of entries to the Vision NextGen competition gives us confidence we are in safe hands,” Rachel Sturgess, Group Director, Tahaluf said. “The show has doubled in size, to 80,000 square meters, the size of 11 football fields.”

Impact of Tahaluf

The success of these events underscores the transformative impact of the Tahaluf alliance. By combining local expertise with global resources, Tahaluf is not only hosting world-class events but also driving tangible change in industries critical to Saudi Arabia’s future.

Both Cityscape Global and the Global Health Exhibition reflect the alliance’s commitment to fostering knowledge exchange, creating investment opportunities, and empowering industries to embrace a more sustainable and innovative future.

As Tahaluf looks to the future, it remains steadfast in its mission: to amplify Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global stage, build connections across industries, and inspire a new era of progress and innovation.
