NEW YORK, N.Y.—The Specialty Food Association (SFA) announced its 67th Summer Fancy Food Show, taking place June 25-27 at New York City’s Javits Center, has sold out its exhibitor booth space. The largest B2B specialty food industry event in North America, it takes up nearly 300,000 square feet of floor space.

This year’s show will feature thousands of artisan food and beverage products from more than 2,000 domestic and global specialty food and beverage makers and manufacturers. Last year, more than 21,000 qualified industry professionals attended, and show organizers expect to exceed that total in 2023.

SFA President Bill Lynch believes the positive numbers are the result of a combination of factors. “Certainly, most people are feeling better about traveling and participating in large events than at any time since 2019,” he said. “But most importantly, specialty food continues to be among the fastest-growing segments of the food industry. Demand for high-quality, artisan products is increasing among consumers, whether they are dining out or cooking at home. The food industry recognizes that the Fancy Food Shows are the premier destination to source the kinds of products that consumers want to see on store shelves and on restaurant menus.”

The new NOW NEXT pavilion will feature incubators and startups.

Also in the spotlight will be the unveiling of the sofi™ Product of the Year and New Product of the Year award winners, as well as the SFA Lifetime Achievement Awards And the Specialty Food Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

The not-for-profit SFA is the leading membership trade association and source of information about the $175 billion specialty food industry. Its next show is the 48th Winter Fancy Food Show, to be held Jan. 21– 23, 2024, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
