RX’s Arabian Travel Market 2024 Sells Out Travel Tech Space

Dubai, UAE — The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024, organized by RX, is preparing to welcome more than 100 of the world’s leading travel tech companies at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in the UAE May 6-9. ATM 2024’s sold-out Travel Tech space will be 56% bigger than last year with 33% more exhibitors participating this year.

“ATM continues to be a popular platform among tourism tech space exhibitors, eager to showcase the latest innovations driving the industry,” said Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market. “This year, the ATM Future Stage, previously the Travel Tech Stage, has seen unprecedented growth in scope and exhibitor participation and, as a result, has increased in size by more than 50%.”

The ATM Future Stage, sponsored by Sabre, will host more than 100 expert speakers from across the global travel and tourism industry focusing on the theme, Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship.

There will be a variety of presentations and sessions at the stage focusing on the latest innovations in design geared toward boosting the sector’s profitability and efficiency. Attendees will also learn how advanced tech can improve a host of segments in the industry such as sustainability and accessibility. Sessions include Navigating the Future: A Futurist’s Prediction, Putting the Traveler First with AI and Unlocking the Value of Travel: Harnessing Technology for Enhanced Traveler Journeys.

“As a team, we have created a platform where industry professionals can explore the latest technological advancements and learn from leading experts in various fields critical to the future of travel technology,” Curtis said. “In addition, we have established an environment that fosters lucrative networking and business opportunities for visitors.”

This year’s show will see the third edition of the ATM Start-up Pitch Battle competition, which will be held in association with Intelak.

Exhibitors this year include Hotelbeds, TBO.com, Moonline Travel and Trade, Trip.com, Travelport, and Fly Today. First-time exhibitors include ExploreTECH, iClick bedsopia.com, OneVasco, GP Solutions, WegoPro, Mondee, Triple-A, Typsy, Nativex, Tour Review and SophiOutsourcing.

ATM 2024 will also debut its first Best Use of Technology award at its annual exhibitor awards. Exhibitors will be evaluated on how and to what extent they have embraced and deployed technology on their stands.

The global travel technology market is a growing sector. The market was valued at $9.4 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $21 billion by 2032, according to Allied Market Research.

The Arabian Travel Market, now in its 31st year, is the leading international travel and tourism event in the Middle East for inbound and outbound tourism professionals. ATM 2023 hosted more than 40,000 attendees and more than 30,000 visitors, setting a new show record. There were some 2,100 exhibitors and representatives from more than 150 countries, spanning 10 halls at Dubai World Trade Centre. Last year’s theme was Working Towards Net Zero.

Held in conjunction with Dubai World Trade Centre, ATM 2024’s strategic partners include the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) as Destination Partner, Emirates as Official Airline Partner, IHG Hotels & Resorts as Official Hotel Partner, and Al Rais Travel as Official DMC Partner.
