LONDON — RX has positioned itself as a world leader in the rapidly developing hydrogen economy with its acquisition of Sustainable Energy Conferences Ltd. (SEC), the owner and organizer of World Hydrogen Summit (May 13-15, Rotterdam, Netherlands), Hydrogen Americas (June 11-12, Washington, D.C.), Asia-Pacific Hydrogen (September 12-13, Brisbane, Australia) and the Sustainable Energy Council brand.
These three shows cover the entire value chain, including production, transmission, distribution and storage, as well as end-user sectors such as heavy industry and transportation. The 2024 World Hydrogen Summit, which is just wrapping up in Rotterdam, is known as the landmark event in the industry. This year’s edition featured the C-Level Summit, the largest hydrogen-focused exhibition in the world, the Africa Hydrogen Forum, 2 x H2 Tech Series Stages, the World Hydrogen Awards, and site visits to the Port of Rotterdam.
The trio of shows also complements and enhances RX’s wider offering in the energy sector, Kerry Prince, Managing Director, RX U.K., said. “The SEC portfolio is attractive and highly regarded, and RX is well-placed to leverage its impact with these three new events. SEC’s mission has been to accelerate the transition to hydrogen-powered energy and the development of a hydrogen economy.
