Norwalk, CT – Reed Exhibitions promoted Marie Browne to vice president as part of a restructuring of its business development team for the U.S. and Latin America.
Browne, whose new title is vice president, business development, took on a larger role in the management of the department’s day-to-day operations. She had been director of business development since 2011 and reports to Les Weir, senior vice president, business development for Reed Exhibitions, the Americas.
Toni Corvi joined the business development team as business development manager. She had been marketing director for one2one. Reed also named Pedro Losa business development manager. He will continue to build on the key role he has played in multiple acquisitions which have led to the development of Reed’s Mexican business.
Mexico has been an area of expansion for Reed in the past year. The company announced October 6 that it had acquired the Mexican show organizer Grupo Fidalex, S.A. de C.V and its portfolio of 15 trade shows. Nancy Walsh was promoted to president of Reed Exhibitions, North America this Summer.
Reed produces more than 500 events worldwide.
