Washington, DC – Production Resource Group, L.L.C. (PRG) acquired Innovative Event Production (IEP), a suburban Washington-based provider of equipment and services for the events industry.
The purchase expands PRG’s presence in the Washington meetings and events arena and gives IEP’s clients more products to choose from in a wider geographical area.
“IEP’s management team and production staff will add significant depth to our corporate and trade show division and give us an enhanced presence in the Washington market,” said Scott Hansen, president and CEO of PRG’s Corporate and Trade Show Americas unit.
IEP was founded 15 years ago in Laurel, MD, and offers audio-visual, event production and entertainment booking services. CEO Patrick Hand and President Kevin Ponchock will remain at the head of the firm.
