Westport, CT — Peter Nathan, president of PWN Exhibicon International LLC, announced his retirement. Nathan spent 58 years in the exhibition industry and organized some of the first independent trade shows held in China, Cuba, Libya and the former Soviet Union.
He was also inducted into the Convention Industry Council Hall of Leaders and received the Pinnacle Award from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
Prior to launching PWN Exhibicon International LLC in 1996, Nathan was executive vice president of Expocon Management. He previously worked as a vice president of Reed Exhibitions and the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in the 1980s
Nathan was a founding member of the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) and the Major American Trade Show Organizers (MATSO).
