Phoenix, AZ – Margaret Pederson joined the board of directors of Viad Corp., the parent company of Global Experience Specialists (GES), a term running until May 2014. She is one of ten members on the Viad board and will serve on the corporate governance and nominating committee.
Pederson is founder of the consulting firm Amirexx LLC and has served as chairman of the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) and the International Association of Exhibition & Events (IAEE). Prior to Amirexx, Pederson was president of Penton Exhibitions and senior vice president at Reed Exhibitions.
“Margaret’s accomplishments and wealth of expertise in the exhibition and events industry are tremendous,” said Paul Dykstra, chairman, president and CEO of Viad. “We know her insights will be an asset to our board of directors.”
