Alexandria, VA – National Trade Productions this week named Andrew Ortale Executive Vice President, a newly created position at the event management company. Ortale will oversee business development and work with event services teams on client relationships. He also will represent NTP through participation in industry associations and events.
“National Trade Productions has a tradition of excellence in trade show management,” Ortale said. “I’m thrilled to join a team of people who share my passion for the industry and commitment to customer service.”
Ortale brings 14 years of experience in the trade show and convention sector to his new position. He most recently was the eastern regional sales manager for The Expo Group and previously was vice president of client and industry relations for J. Spargo & Associates. He also has represented convention and visitor bureaus in Pittsburgh and Orlando.
National Trade Productions counts the Coverings show among its clients. Coverings ranked No. 51 on the most recent Trade Show Executive Gold 100 shows, drawing more than 23,000 attendees in 2010 and using almost 309,000 net square feet of exhibition space. NTP also provided event management services for the American Public Transportation Association’s triennial event in New Orleans last year. That show used 282,000 net square feet of space.
