New York, NY — The Nielsen Company has acquired the Wedding and Portrait Photographer International Trade Show (WPPI) from its founder, Steve Sheanin. The deal also includes Rangefinder and AfterCapture magazines. Nielsen said Sheanin would remain in charge of the properties while reporting to Nielsen Expositions Vice President Joseph Randall. Nielsen’s photo group currently operates PhotoPlus Expo and various print and online titles. WPPI takes place at the MGM Las Vegas.
