Las Vegas, NV – The annual conference and trade show for the Natural Products Association (NPA) will take place in June under a new name, the Natural Products Association MarketPlace. The event, formerly known as Natural MarketPlace, is organized by New Hope Natural Media and will run June 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show has been the official annual exhibition for the NPA since 1938.
“This change serves to realign the show with the goals of the association to better serve those who make and sell natural products,” said Fred Linder, president of New Hope Natural Media.
The 2011 show is expected to draw approximately 5,000 attendees and feature 165 to 185 exhibitors in 30,000 net square feet, according to show manager Erica Stone. Another 200 exhibitors are expected for the co-located World Tea Expo.
New Hope Natural Media also organizes the Natural Products Expo East and Natural Products Expo West, which were ranked 99th and 55th, respectively, on the most recent Trade Show Executive Gold 100 list of the largest trade shows in the U.S. The two Gold 100 shows are not sponsored by the NPA.
