Long Beach, CA – SMG named Traycee Mayer general manager of the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, replacing long time General Manager David Gordon, who retired at the end of 2010. Gordon had been in the position since 1989 and joined SMG in 1981. Mayer joined SMG after serving as general manager of the Holiday Inn at the Long Beach Airport.
The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center ranks as the 49th largest convention center in the U.S., according to Trade Show Executive’s 2010 directory of the World’s Top Convention Centers.
