LAS VEGAS — The Summer 2024 edition of Las Vegas Market drew retailers and designers from nearly all 50 states and overseas, with some 30% of total attendees being first-time visitors.

Las Vegas Market, which ran July 28-Aug. 1, at World Market Center Las Vegas featured more than 3,500 product lines across some 5 million square feet of permanent showroom and temporary exhibition space. Its Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas features just over 315,000 square feet of exhibition space including 450-plus temporary exhibitors.
ANDMORE, formerly International Market Centers, hosts Las Vegas Market, which is the top home furnishings and gift market in the western U.S., focusing on furniture, home décor and gift resources. ANDMORE owns and operates more than 20 million square feet of premium event and showroom space, hosting live events in Atlanta, High Point, N.C., Las Vegas and New York City.
“The summer shows, including Las Vegas Market, have been a remarkable demonstration of the industry’s adaptability and resilience,” said Jon Pertchik, ANDMORE CEO. “As we navigate through economic headwinds, it’s clear that our shared commitment and innovative approaches will guide us towards a brighter future.”
The Expo Seminar Room made its debut at this summer’s show, delivering a series of seminars and live activations for buyers. Examples included a brand storytelling session by Chrissy Weems of Origami Owl, a seminar on mastering phone photography by Linda Holt and live cutting board engraving from J.K. Adams. The Expo Seminar Room also hosted industry events, such as a Museum Store Association mixer for buyers and suppliers.

In the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, the show’s gourmet “Neighborhood” was rebranded as a “Kitchen + Table” category, to allow a broader range of giftable housewares, specialty food and specialty tabletop to be shown together on the exhibit floor, according to Dorothy Belshaw, ANDMORE President. “This name change also created more synergy with sister event, Atlanta Market, which launched a new Kitchen + Table category in summer 2024. Our home furnishings temporary exhibits also celebrated their first summer market in their new location on B6, as part of a remerchandising and expansion of better home furnishings showrooms on B2.”

For this year’s summer market ANDMORE introduced new attendee outreach initiatives which included hosting regional buyer events outside of markets and sponsoring business-building webinars with industry publications, according to Karen Olson, ANDMORE CMO. “These events give us touchpoints with buyers outside of market weeks and enable us to maintain consistent dialog with our customers. The more we can understand about their businesses — the successes and the pain points — the better able we are to serve their needs.”
She added that this year the new “Best of Las Vegas Giveaway” rewarded buyers who pre-registered with chances to win attraction, entertainment, spa and dining prizes for use during the summer market. Prizes include two tickets for a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon; two show or concert tickets to an event of the winner’s choice (up to $500 per ticket); a $500 gift card for a restaurant experience of the winner’s choice; a $500 gift card for a spa experience of the winner’s choice; and two tickets for The Sphere experience.
The Winter 2025 Las Vegas Market runs from Jan. 26 –Jan. 30, at World Market Center Las Vegas.
