Frances Ferrante, Senior Editor

Paramus, N.J. — The newly combined forces of MetroMultiMedia and Sirk Productions will create a new model for conference and meeting production that includes live, virtual and hybrid elements.

MMM has been in the live event production business since 2006. For organizations that are still not 100% face-to-face, the company also offers a unique broadcast experience: a combination of virtual and live setting. Now they have partnered with the Emmy® Award-winning boutique agency  Sirk Productions, led by a team of filmmakers, marketers and designers who specialize in creating experiences across multiple platforms for clients ranging from GlaxoSmithKline to Vivitar to Paramount.

“Our clients have done an unbelievable job coping and changing to connect virtually while also working through the pitfalls coming out of the pandemic,” Bruno Giaccio, CEO of MMM, said. “With time to reflect and be proactive instead of reactive, we believe hybrid events will have a new look and feel; one which we aim to produce and develop with our client partners. Hybrid is not going away any time soon – we want to be there to assist and amplify the experience for the people who cannot attend live and, in the long run, help boost the overall event traction.”

Giaccio predicts that the industry will even out in 2022 and shows will return to their previous rotations pre-Covid. “Many events in 2021 were off the yearly show cycle. I personally believe that our partnership with Sirk Productions sets us up for 2022 with the ability help our clients who will have a longer runway to produce events and see the value in content through the prism of their extended audience.”
