Joshua Hartman Named Head of Cardiac Research Foundation Conferences; Succeeds Johnnie White

HIL ANDERSON, SENIOR EDITOR

New York, NY – The Cardiac Research Foundation (CRF) named Joshua Hartman executive director of its Education Foundation, which organizes a portfolio of medical conferences, following the departure of Johnnie White in October.

Hartman joined the CRF in 2007 and had been director, educational services & strategic relations as well as managing editor of TCTMD, a CRF newsletter on research in the cardiology field. The New York-based not-for-profit organization organizes around 40 conferences and other face-to-face events for physicians.

White held the executive director post for more than eight years. Prior to that, he was a senior meeting manager for the  American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics and The Endocrine Society.  He is the immediate past chair of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).

White has not announced his future plans.
