Alexandria, VA – After 19 years as a go-to executive with National Trade Productions (NTP), Jennifer Hoff has joined VP International as vice president and general manager.
Hoff was executive director of industry relations for NTP. She will use her extensive experience in dealing with the different camps in the exhibition industry for a variety of operational responsibilities at VP International, headed by Vinnie Polito.
“I will be using a lot of my experience in a different format,” Hoff told Trade Show Executive. “It will help develop the organization from a process standpoint.”
Hoff will remain in suburban Washington, DC with frequent trips to VP International in Connecticut and also to Dallas where she will take charge of the STEM Solutions Conference. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and involves some of the largest companies in the U.S., such as Microsoft and Chevron. The goal of the Texas conference is to develop budding scientists and engineers for careers in business.
The opportunity with STEM plus the new environment prompted Hoff to take the plunge. “It will be a new challenge,” she said. “Opportunities like that don’t come along every day.”
Hoff will be involved in the transition period at NTP in the coming weeks and will continue with her involvement with the various industry associations she has been active in over the years.
