PORTLAND, Oregon — The International Mass Timber Conference (IMTC) celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2026 with a landmark edition at the Oregon Convention Center.
From March 31-April 2, professionals from across the industry’s supply chain gathered in “The City of Roses” for information-sharing, networking and business.
The show, which is produced by Trifecta Collective and WoodWorks, offered an Anniversary Guide on site for attendees and was laser-focused on elevating the IMTC brand this year.
“We had a particular lens on honoring the 10th anniversary milestone of the event, as well as honoring and recognizing the leaders, exhibitors, partners and attendees who have been with us on our decade-long journey,” Shelby Cherry, IMTC’s Director, said. “The team showed unrelenting dedication to making this edition the strongest one to date.”
With tariffs and the state of the U.S. construction industry impacting participation, the show’s team offered extra customer service, personal communication, group registration discounts and customized visa letters of invitation to show support and help create a path for international professionals to attend/exhibit.

A New Keynote and Updated Show Areas
The event kicked off with a new keynote — The Boardroom: From Pitch to Capital — which was a lively, interactive session with a panel of institutional investors who heard five 15-minute pitches from developers and architects.
IMTC also added new areas on the show floor:
- Modular sales unit from MODS PDX
- Modular classroom from Kalenikoff
- The Art of Mass Timber: a photo gallery comprised of regional photography spanning the last decade, documenting mass timber
- Live demonstrations by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Ironworkers and TallWood Design Institute.
Additionally, on March 31, IMTC offered four new tours that spanned Oregon and showcased the latest in manufacturing, forestry, commercial projects and residential mass timber projects.
“We are truly proud of the great event we produced … and the opportunity to celebrate 10 years of IMTC,” Cherry said. “Cheers to the next 10!”
Last year’s edition of the International Mass Timber Conference is part of the Fastest 50 Class of 2025 and will be recognized for its high growth rate April 22-24, 2026, at the Trade Show Executive Fastest 50 Awards & Summit in Baltimore.
