NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Informa Markets and ISSA create a long-term strategic partnership for the nearly 100-year old ISSA Show North America show.
Informa Markets signed a long-term partnership agreement with ISSA—The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association and will now oversee “all operational assets” of the ISSA Show North America and help expand the event’s overall size as well as its attendance and exhibitor roster. The association will remain in charge of the show’s educational component.
The partnership allows each organization to focus on what it does best, and via long-term strategic collaboration between the two partners, it will position the show for significant growth, ISSA said in a statement.
Key day to day contacts for this new partnership on behalf of ISSA are Kim Althoff, ISSA Vice President of Sales, Trade Shows & Media, and on behalf of Informa Markets is Lindsay Roberts, Group Director.
Launched in 1924, the ISSA Show North America serves the commercial cleaning industry and has more than 9,000 dedicated members worldwide. The 2017 show was ranked 59th on the most recent Trade Show Executive Gold 100 by virtue of a show-record 297,588 net square feet of exhibit space. Last year’s show in Dallas was down (11.2)% to 264,334 nsf.
The 2019 edition of the show takes place Nov. 18-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will be co-located with the Building Service Contractors Association International’s Contracting Success Conference. The show floor will feature four specialty exhibit areas and three theater areas dedicated to specialized topics related to commercial cleaning.
Organizers project more than 700 exhibitors and more than 16,000 industry professionals for 2019. The show’s education agenda will surpass 100 sessions for the first time in its history.
