Inaugural SuperCon Brings Together the Automotive Transportation Ecosystem for Valuable Education and Networking

ORLANDO — The idea for SuperCon began with one question: “Wouldn’t it be cool if we could get our whole ecosystem together and put together a carrier-focused event?”

The seed was planted, and Super Dispatch — a company that serves the automotive transport industry through its transportation management platform — began the process of putting together a conference where carriers, carrier vendors, shippers and brokers could come together to gain business insights and connect.

Although professionals from different parts of the industry would attend, the event would center around the specific needs of carriers — a group that, according to Super Dispatch CEO Matt Bradley, was in need of a bigger voice.

“We have an opportunity to fill a void, and I think it’s important that we do that,” Bradley said. “I think the carrier needs a voice and carriers can learn from one another, large and small.”

SuperCon launched Sept. 15-16, 2026.

In order to give carriers that voice, the event, which was held at Caribe Royale Orlando on Sept. 15-16, included education addressing the issues carriers are concerned about, including fraud, winning more business, operations efficiency and the current state of auto transport. This carrier-specific curated content led to impactful conversations that addressed their unique needs.

“Some of the biggest shippers in the U.S., and the world, got up on stage to talk about what they look for in carriers and what gets them cut. They told horror stories. There were very real interactions,” Bradley said. “It was not billionaires talking to billionaires or vendors talking to vendors. It was actual players in the industry that move cars every day giving their perspective on whatever the topic was.”

Building From the Ground Up

Although Super Dispatch had planned small, customer-focused events in the past, this was the first time the company organized a full convention. One concern the organization had was communicating to stakeholders that this would truly be an industry event, not a two-day advertisement for Super Dispatch services.

This meant limiting the amount of time that Super Dispatch was discussed at the event, choosing agnostic sponsors that could represent the views of the community and surveying the carrier base to find out what participants wanted to experience.

Then the company went on to get the word out about the conference, which included the team members setting SuperCon as the default signature for all of their emails, and making information about the event visible when carriers used the company’s platform.

“That visibility got us a lot of eyeballs,” said Bradley. “That was probably the number one source of interest.”

The event’s first edition attracted more than 200 attendees.

Once those eyeballs read how they would benefit from attending the event, it wasn’t long before people started talking to others about it — including those who represented other areas of the industry, whether they used the company’s products or not.

“We started to get some folks saying, ‘Hey, this is interesting. There are a bunch of carriers going; I’d like to go’ or ‘I’d like to invite my carrier network, is it okay if they’re not on Super Dispatch?’” Bradley explained. “We had the community inviting other people on our behalf, and when word of mouth became a thing, the tipping point had been reached.”

That tipping point led to a successful first event. Although Bradley was concerned that only 20 people would show up, SuperCon 2026 actually attracted more than 200, along with 10 sponsors.

Now, Super Dispatch has gone from wondering how to get the community together for a conference to planning the next one.

Bradley sums up his plans this way: “We’ll do it again and we’ll do it again bigger.”
