LOS ANGELES — Curious about the emerging event technology on display at Expo! Expo!, IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition? Trade Show Executive has you covered with this roundup of tech startups and innovative solutions straight from the Tech2Grow Collective area of the floor.
Amego
A provider of mobile event technology solutions for event marketing teams, Amego provides mobile apps for events with easy-to-manage and adaptable solutions. Founded in 2022, Amego powered the mobile app experience for more than 100,000 attendees in its first year.
“We just had this conversation about why are we winning new business, and I would say, it’s our product set feature,” said Courtney Richman, Enterprise Account Executive at Amego. “We have a lot of awesome products and product sets that are native to our app. Different things that are super popular right now are our segmentation; we have a meetings capability all within the app, which is really cool. Our brand ability of the mobile app, and also our flexibility as a platform is appealing. We’re also a newer platform, so we are open to customizations.”
There.App Co
There.App is a holistic management tool for coordinating on-site teams to access project information, track execution and stay informed as professionals are spread out across multiple locations. It also allows an entire team to have access to key files, lists, calendars and location data in one place.
“We’re for event production and operational efforts,” said Seth Kenvin, CEO of There.App. “It’s for teamwork where there’s coordination to be done within a group of about 10 to 100 people. This could be overall production of a small or medium event, or particular groups within events of any size, like an exhibiting company and their vendors, or the moderator and panelists of a session, or the backstage crew running a keynote theater. We can also be the interface between the overall event and its customers on-site like sponsors and exhibitors. The company started based on my colleagues and I understanding from our personal experiences that there’s opportunity to better organize project information, team communication and on-site execution.”
Jampack
Jampack is an event package partner to help book tickets, hotels and other experiences for event-goers. The four-year-old company boasts a client list of industry heavyweights like RX, Clarion, Emerald and ASM Global, and has helped generate more than $14 million for event organizers through the curation of hotel and experience packages for event attendees.
“It’s been a great week at Expo! Expo! We’ve had the chance to reconnect with many of our valued clients and meet innovative trade show producers. As the Head of Client Success at Jampack, I’m thrilled to share how our solutions are helping show organizers enhance their attendee experience while generating additional revenue streams. We’re passionate about creating memorable networking events that provide attendees with more fun and connection opportunities—creating a win-win for our clients and their attendees,” said Brian Schweighoffer, Head of Client Success at Jampack.
Snöball
The peer-to-peer marketing and audience growth solution Snöball is helping turn audiences into influencers and promoters to refer their networks to events. It also helps engage audiences with pre- and post-event tools, like content-driven and conversion-optimized campaigns after a show closes.
“We introduced a new feature designed to engage attendees by showcasing who’s participating in the event and boosting ticket sales. Our standout feature is the AI avatar creator, which allows attendees to transform into any character that matches the event theme,” said Rachel Stephan, Founder of Snöball. “This new feature was part of a campaign developed and first launched for Clarion’s ITC Vegas, which received the Best use of Tech award from TSNN. The campaign’s theme, ‘Endless Possibilities,’ centered around turning everyone into astronauts. When attendees registered, they could upload their photo, transform themselves into an astronaut, and share it widely.
“This feature drives engagement by creating excitement and boosting the event’s visibility while showing who else will be there. Knowing who’s attending is a powerful motivator for others to register. Ultimately, it’s all about increasing attendance and encouraging more people to show up.”
Sessionboard
Sessionboard, a speaker and content management platform, offers a modular approach, allowing organizers to grow as they go and customize their suite to their needs. Sessionboard’s Speaker CRM tool had features including centralized communications, agenda management, content management and distribution, embeddable content display, integrations and open API, call for papers, abstract evaluations, and personalize on-boarding portals.
“Our goal is to save event organizers time and enhance very dated, manual and time-consuming processes that typically exist when it comes to program planning,” said Megan Saad, Senior Account Executive at Sessionboard. “Everything from call for presentations, reviewing submissions, building out your event agenda, to onboarding your speakers. We streamline that process, making it very easy to review submissions, determine which sessions are going to be part of the event, and then onboard your speakers from there in a branded, seamless experience. We are collecting headshots, files, speaker contracts — anything you need from the speakers can be done within the Sessionboard platform, all the way to the actual presentations themselves, including getting ready for exporting the presentation files for on-site distribution. We’re streamlining all of the planning efforts that it takes leading up to the event, saving organizers time, but also providing this great branded experience for their participants, which is often the starting touch point in a marketing campaign.”
Zenus
Zenus, the ethical AI-facial analysis and AI badge scanning tool, offers behavioral mapping for organizers to track live on a dashboard. Using its proprietary models, Zenus can help organizers tack impressions, demographics, and sentiment — boasting the ability to collect behavioral insights with 95% accuracy without having to collect people’s personal data.
“We analyze the behavior and experience of attendees,” said Panos Moutafis, Ph.D., CEO and Co-Founder of Zenus. “[Using our sensors] We look at audience reactions, and then you also take the transcript of the speaker, and can see what they said and what would generate these reactions. Zenus helps organizers improve this by the combining of the transcript with audience reactions, and that’s relatively new. The second part that we do is analyze. We analyze the movement of people and the number of people, and the number of visits into the booth. We pull the data from the illustration to see how many conversions are made. We also measure the performance of activations. [Exhibitors/sponsors] spend thousands of dollars for an activation, and we want to see what they’re getting back. So, we can give them the number of impressions and the energy it created.”

Snapmatic
Through creating custom AI brand experiences, Snapmatic is helping to generate engagement and visitors at events. With offerings like custom AI photo booths and themes, and brand activations, Snapmatic can help elevate exhibits, conferences and fan zones.
“We offer a new element for sponsorship opportunities. The AI photograph is a unique and current way that people can engage with content and the show,” said Gabe Henwood, Chief Snapper at Snapmatic. “We’re generating a themed image output with the event branding on there for them to share with their potential attendees and to promote their event. We can be used as pre-event comms, booth activations and as entertainment at receptions as well. Snapmatic stands out due to our focus and the in-depth knowledge within the Generative AI image creation space we have of the product to create new activations and custom elements for users. So, that translates into the quality image that we create, which then delivers the value to the consumer.”
fielddrive
fielddrive is looking to improve the attendee experience while helping to prove ROI to exhibitors through its solutions that include facial recognition check in and custom badge printing, session access control, smart logistics and sustainable options. Its Leads solution allows exhibitors to access real-time event data, share documents with prospects through the app and customize lead qualification forms by adding questions to align more closely with their business goals.
“These are really high-quality badges,” said Prateek Chopra, Associate Director of Sales and Partnerships at fielddrive. “Everything is printed on demand, so nothing is pre-printed, and these are printed from the kiosks. We help organizers create sponsorship opportunities as well. Our registration and badge printing is more of an airport like check in experience. You scan the QR code, or you just look for the name. How we differ from the other reg platforms is that we offer facial recognition as well, so it also caters to the security of the event. We also offer scanning solutions. We can track attendees, like which sessions they went to; and we offer lead retrieval as well.”
Boost.Express
Boost.Express, a collaborative advertising platform for business events that opens a new monetization channel, helps exhibitors and sponsors to work with events to create advertising campaigns with better ROI through evoking brand recognition and trust and leveraging first-party data provided by events.
“Boost.Express not only creates a new revenue stream, it also saves on marketing cost,” said Beezar Sirini, CRO at Boost.Express. “Exhibitors can run highly tailored marketing campaigns to an extended audience with the organizer’s approval without having direct access to the audience. A significant portion of the ad spend from these campaigns becomes net new revenue for the organizer.”
Accelevents
Accelevents aims to empower organizers to easily manage in-person, virtual and hybrid events by blending advanced features with a simple and easy-to-use interface. With platform features like event agenda building, lead capture, meeting scheduler, speaker management and ticketing and registration among others, Accelevents is providing an all-in-one platform to streamline tech stacks.
At the end of the day, what really matters to us is building long-term relationships with our customers,” says Andrew Leighton, Director of Sales at Accelevents. “We’re not about quick, transactional partnerships – that’s just not our style. We want to understand your challenges, identify what’s missing, and work together to find the right solution. There’s a shift happening, moving away from just SaaS to a more hybrid model that includes service support, and we’re all in on that. Plus, we’ve built a tech stack that works seamlessly together. And we’re constantly looking for ways to make life easier for our users. Just recently, we rolled out our Exhibitor Resource Center to help event organizers manage exhibitors at scale. At the end of the day, our goal is simple: technology should make your life easier, not harder.”

TurnoutNow
TurnoutNow offers a portfolio of tools that are AI-powered and aimed at enhancing user experiences. It’s event offerings include: Attendee Tracking using AI and Bluetooth to provide intelligence and analytics; PeerConnect, which helps enhance networking experiences with analytics; CognitiveSearch that provides personalized recommendations and analytics when users digital search; and an Analytics Engine that records actions to develop and share insights and lessons learned at an event.
“TurnoutNow provides a range of event technology solutions, including attendee tracking. Events involve significant investments, and many times the data used to make decisions is often based on assumptions. With our wearable beacons, you can access detailed data and analytics, such as how many people are attending sessions, how long they stayed, and whether they’re utilizing the food and resources you’ve invested in. This information helps enhance your events for years to come,” said Liz Amicone, Enterprise Sales Account Executive at TurnoutNow. “Our technology also tracks traffic patterns in the expo hall, which is crucial since that’s where the most revenue is generated. We can provide insights on traffic patterns, if the right attendees are visiting their booths, and other valuable metrics. With our user-friendly dashboards, all the data can be easily exported. It’s no longer about assumptions — it’s about real, reliable data, and data doesn’t lie.”
ADITUS GmbH
ADITUS, an event management software company, offers unified full-service registration, one-stop admission control event marketing and digital revenue models through its customizable platform. Offering solutions for a range of events, including trade fairs, congresses, virtual/hybrid events, corporate events and other large-scale events the German-based company works to add value to all event stakeholders.
“Registration is often seen as a necessary evil, but ADITUS actually transformed registration into a tool that incentivizes exhibitors, generates digital revenue for organizers, and elevates the entire user experience for all stakeholders,” said Céline Laukemann, Head of Internationalisation at ADITUS. “For attendees, it’s a seamless experience, with features like password-free login, for example.
“ADITUS unifies the three key elements of trade show attendance beautifully: registration, badging and access control as well as event marketing powered by all stakeholders. One standout tool is our exhibitor service centre, which was extremely well received at #ExpoExpo and delivers massive exhibitor value! It enables organizers to provide each exhibitor with a branded ticket shop or registration portal. This approach is highly scalable and drives early registration, as exhibitors proactively promote the show as early as possible. They have massive incentives to do so. The game-changer is that exhibitors are willing to pay for this, turning registration from a cost centre into a revenue stream.”
Exponexa
Exponexa.ai is delivering tailored AI-driven solutions to help sales teams to follow up with leads from shows by providing email automation and custom prompts. Exponexa aims to also help increase follow-up efficiency for exhibitors by addressing their specific needs and priorities.
“One of the biggest challenges exhibitors face is following up with their leads after a show,” said Jared Auld, CEO and Founder of Exponexa. “Our Lead Assist Program addresses this by taking all the leads they’ve captured, creating detailed profiles for the companies they spoke with, and analyzing how their offerings align. Using the notes collected during the event, the system leverages AI to write personalized follow-up emails that come directly from the salesperson. The program continues to follow up with each lead, aiming to secure a follow-up meeting after the show — where the real deals are closed.”
Eventsforce, Powered by Simpleview
Eventsforce, a web-based solution for the full event lifecycle, allows organizers to manage all of their events on one platform. The company offers the Eventsforce Platform, and solutions for awards, abstracts, virtual and hybrid events, as well as tools for mobile apps, attendance tracking and the check in and badging process.
