DALLAS – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has announced its 2020 board of directors’ nominees. IAEE will open the voting polls for its 2020 Board of Directors elections on 3 September 2019. Each member organization will have until 2 December to submit their vote and the results will be announced during Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition on 3-5 December 2019 in Las Vegas.
“The outstanding group of individuals recommended by IAEE’s Nominating Committee have contributed tremendous talent not only to IAEE but to the industry,” said IAEE Chairperson Tom Cindric, Jr., CEM, President, Winsight Exhibitions. “Their ongoing dedication to ensuring IAEE modulates its strategic plan with members as its foremost priority is one of our greatest strengths.”
Nominees for Officers, serving for 2020:
- Chairperson-Elect: Carrie Ferenac, President, Convention News Television (CNTV)
- Secretary-Treasurer: Yulita Osuba, Deputy Director, Orange County Convention Center

“This board of directors is full of extremely talented people, and I’m honored and humbled to be Chairperson Elect,” CNTV’s Ferenac told Trade Show Executive. Ferenac co-founded CNTV with business partner Marcelo Zolessi in 2007, and the company now produces live content and video highlights for more than sixty clients annually. Ferenac currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer for IAEE and the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR). Her wide-ranging industry activities include involvement in Exhibitions Day and the Exhibitions Mean Business campaign. She was a finalist for the Supplier of the Year Award in the Professional Convention Management Association’s 2019 Visionary Awards.
“I have a passion for the exhibitions and events industry and its impact on enhancing business and changing lives,” Feranac said. “I look forward to advancing strong initiatives, such as the Exhibitions Mean Business campaign and Exhibitions Day, and leveraging CEIR research unique to our industry.”
