DALLAS — Freeman announced it acquired Tag Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency that specializes in solutions for event organizers in the EMEA, APAC and North American regions.
Tag Digital will combine with mdg, a Freeman company, further elevating the group’s capabilities for serving associations and event organizers. Freeman stated that mdg’s digital offerings will be more efficient, cost-effective and impactful because of Tag’s expertise and investment in AI.
“This acquisition is an exciting milestone for Freeman’s mdg business,” Janet Dell, Freeman’s CEO, said. “It opens new opportunities for mdg to expand globally, strengthening its ability to serve clients on an international scale. Tag’s deep expertise in EMEA and APAC will accelerate mdg’s growth in these key markets, enhancing its ability to drive results for organizers worldwide.”

This deal also positions the combined company for growth in new markets with Tag’s global portfolio of trade shows, associations and other large-scale conferences.

Mdg services clients including NAB Show, SUPERZOO, National Restaurant Association Show, Toy Fair, The Car Wash Show — which are Trade Show Executive Gold 100 shows — and more.
