Freeman Acquisition of Info Salons Boosts Data Muscle

DALLAS — Freeman is expanding its events management offerings with the recently announced acquisition of Info Salons, a nearly 30-year old Australia-based provider of registration and attendee database management.

“No matter what industry you’re in, data collection and analysis are going to play a large role in how your business operates and evolves,” Freeman CEO Bob Priest-Heck told Trade Show Executive. “Companies can collect treasure troves of data. The key, however, is turning this data into actionable insights — such as how to build better relationships with customers, improve offerings, and personalize interactions and capabilities for clients. With our acquisition of Info Salons, we will be able to help our clients unlock the value of their attendee data and unearth critical insights to help them develop even more memorable and engaging events, exhibits and experiences.”

Info Salons Group CEO and founder Jo-Anne Kelleway, a past TSE Power Lunch subject who appeared on the cover of Trade Show Executive in February 2017, said the acquisition of her company enables it to enter a new phase of growth.

“Until now, Info Salons has been expanding throughout the Greater Asian regions by helping organizers grow and improve the ROI of their events using our database marketing and registration platforms,” Kelleway told TSE. “By integrating with Freeman’s advanced digital products, we can offer even more comprehensive solutions to our clients.

“Personally, my team and my clients have always come first, so joining a family-owned business whose ethos are so aligned to our own makes perfect sense. Over the past 15 years of attending IAEE and SISO events, I have always admired Don Freeman and his entire team, and I am so proud to be joining the Freeman family.

“With Freeman’s support, I am looking forward to this next exciting adventure of Info Salons’ growth and success.”
