Myrtle Beach, SC – The French show organizer Comexposium has added two U.S. forensics conferences to its portfolio. Comexposium acquired Techno Security & Forensics Investigations Conference and Mobile Forensics World from TheTrainingCo.com, LLC effective June 3. The two co-located shows ran June 1-4 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The acquisition will allow Comexposium to expand its current European IT security related offerings into the U.S. market. The company currently runs CARTES America, an event for IT security professionals held annually at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Comexposium is partnering in the new venture with the U.S. show management firm Exposition Development Company, Inc (ExpoDevCo). The two companies already work together on CARTES America.
“We enjoy working with the Comexposium team and are looking forward to this expansion of our relationship with them,” said David Audrain, president and CEO of ExpoDevCo. “These two conferences have a 16-year history of success and growth.” Audrain added the management of the newly acquired shows would remain on board to assist with planning and to chair the show advisory board.
Comexposium organizes 114 events in the European, Asian and Middle East trade show and consumer show markets. Its shows cover 17 industry sectors and total 38,000 exhibitors annually. Its portfolio includes the SIAL brand, Intermat and the Paris International Agricultural Show. It also organizes two small fashion events in Las Vegas and New York: Curve NV and CURVE NY.
Comexposium is a subsidiary of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Unibail-Rodamco Group, a commercial real estate firm.
TheTrainingCo.com, which launched the two conferences in 1998, was represented by Corporate Solutions in the transaction.
