San Antonio — Feathr and mdg kicked off Expo! Expo! by announcing they had extended their partnership and would offer show organizers the entire Feathr product suite at a discounted price.
The two firms — Feathr develops event software and mdg is a leading trade show marketing agency — have been working together on data-driven audience acquisition for exhibition organizers. Their expanded pact designated mdg as the first Feathr Implementation Partner; the two companies also will jointly host a series of workshops around the country in 2018 for show managers on best practices in digital marketing.
“Events and associations are sitting on a gold mine of data, yet they often lack the bandwidth or technical expertise to leverage that asset and amplify their audience acquisition and monetization initiatives,” said mdg President Kimberly Hardcastle-Geddes. “Our expanded Feathr collaboration will help our clients unlock this potential, which will ultimately drive increased value to members, attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and of course, the organization itself.”
The partnership between Feathr and mdg has been a joint effort by two companies that enjoy a high profile in the trade show industry. The 2017 IAEE Art of the Show competition included seven individual first-place awards for mdg. Earlier this year, Feathr’s Event Marketing Cloud received the Best New Event Technology award at Eventex. Feathr has also received similar technology awards from the Society of Independent Show Organizers and also from UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibitions Industry.
