HIGH POINT, N.C. — The leading home furnishings trade show High Point Market’s Fall 2024 edition, scheduled for Oct. 26-30, expects around 75,000 attendees and 2,000 exhibitors, with more than 100 countries represented, spread across 11.5 million net square feet. The High Point Market Authority (HMPA) and ANDMORE announced a host of updates for the event.

Trends, Luxury and More

The HPMA will give a new twist to its Style Spotters Program, renaming it the “Style Spotters Spotlight.” TV design stars Galey Alix and Mikel Welch will explore the event’s showrooms and share product picks, showroom photos and collection launches on social media and participate in a meet-and-greet with exhibitors and attendees.

Additionally, the Design Leadership Network (DLN) will present a keynote discussion titled “How Luxury Design Clients Are Living Today,” on Oct. 26, moderated by DLN Director of Editorial and Community Engagement Hadley Keller.

The HPMA has also partnered with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), which organizes the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), to host the new NKBA | KBIS Design Experience, a daily educational pop-up, at the Fall 2024 High Point Market from Oct. 26-28. According to the HPMA, this event series is the first of its kind.

Bell Biv DeVoe and Funk You will headline High Point Market’s Center Stage on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.

ANDMORE Updates

ANDMORE is introducing nearly 70 new, expanded and relocated resources at seven High Point Destinations for the 2024 Fall Market.

“ANDMORE presents 500-plus temporary exhibitors at four locations at High Point Market … these four temporary exhibit destinations are among ANDMORE’s 17 High Point Market properties that make up the majority of the 11 million-plus [net square foot] showroom space at High Point Market. Each venue showcases new, expanding and returning exhibitors, for a compelling mix of innovative and emerging newcomers and established and best-selling lines,” Karen Olson, ANDMORE’s Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, said.

The company is officially opening its temporary exhibits at Suites at Market Square on Friday, Oct. 25, one day earlier than last year’s Fall Market, to give buyers and exhibitors more time to connect.

“Increasingly, retailers and designers are coming to market in advance of the official opening day (Saturday-Tuesday), and much of this pre-market traffic is focused on permanent showroom appointments,” Olson said. “Spring 2024 marked our first official early opening of temporary exhibits at Suites at Market Square on Friday (one day prior to market’s official opening) and the results were positive. We are eager to continue this for Fall 2024 and expect the pre-market traffic at Suites to continue to grow as more buyers become aware of the early shopping opportunity.”

Also, ANDMORE is partnering with Fashion Snoops to reintroduce a multi-faceted trend program to their market offerings, with details still being finalized.

ANDMORE’s Shoppe Object – High Point, a home-focused version of their N.Y.-based gift and home trade show, is celebrating its one-year anniversary during the market as well.

“With Shoppe Object’s signature reverence for the well-made, Shoppe Object – High Point reflects ANDMORE’s commitment to offering buyers and brands more opportunities to connect and transact. For its third edition, Shoppe Object – High Point will showcase 100-plus carefully curated artisan home décor exhibitors in an elevated, gallery-like setting. Many of these brands are making their High Point Market debuts,” Olson explained.
