Pittsburgh, PA – Questex is expanding its Nightclub & Bar Show brand to the East Coast with the launch of a new foodservice show next Fall in a partnership with Exposition Development Company, Inc. (ExpoDevCo).
The Pennsylvania Foodservice Expo will launch October 23-24, 2017 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. The show will cater to the restaurant, nightlife, hospitality and foodservice industries.
A unique feature will be a series of pavilions on the exhibit hall floor that will carry the Nightclub & Bar Show brand and provide tastings of various products. “This new partnership is extremely exciting and will result in the top minds from the restaurant, foodservice, bar and nightlife industries all coming together in one spot,” said Questex President and CEO, Kerry Gumas.
Questex’s Nightclub & Bar Convention and Tradeshow is held annually at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The 2016 show resulted in a 17% increase in Expo Only attendees with 30,000+ visitors from the bar, nightlife, beverage and hospitality industry.
The Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association is the third member of the show partnership. The association tallied 25,434 restaurants and bars in the state. “Pennsylvania is a major market for the foodservice and hospitality industry, and we are delighted to be launching and partnering on this event with Questex and the PRLA,” said ExpoDevCo COO & Partner, Stephanie Everett.
