EVG Invests in The Longevity Show™ Ahead of Its Inaugural Edition

LONDON — The Events Venture Group (EVG) is starting 2026 off hot with its fifth syndication announcement in the group’s history. EVG announced a strategic investment in The Longevity Show™, which will host its inaugural edition June 26-27 in London later this year.

Founded by Phil Newman, Founder of Longevity.Technology®, and Carolyn Dawson, OBE, CEO of Founders Forum Group and former Informa Tech President, The Longevity Show will bring together leaders, innovators and consumers at the intersection of longevity science, wellness and health-span optimization.

“We’ve spent our career building events that shape industries. What excites us about The Longevity Show is the opportunity to create something fresh — a cultural moment that reflects how central health and longevity have become to business, policy and everyday life,” stated Dawson.

Combining B2B and B2C Elements

According to EVG, the global longevity market is growing at a CAGR of more than 20%, but it has a fragmented event landscape for the industry. The Longevity Show is positioning itself to serve as the convening place of both the business and consumer sides of the longevity industry.

“Today’s longevity events are either too narrow, too technical or too disconnected from the consumer,” stated Newman. “The Longevity Show is designed as a new kind of platform — one that combines serious industry dialogue with mass consumer engagement, creating scale, relevance and long-term commercial sustainability.”

“Consumer is a really exciting platform,” said Lance Fensterman, EVG Member and CEO of Fanatics Events. “I’m biased and felt like I want to champion this internally with EVG because I believe in it. The hybrid vision around the show fits well with my views on what a professional is, because I think the idea of professionals in B2B has changed quite a bit. Shows like this, especially with emerging innovation and products, you have a lot of people that are super-users that become professionals and enter the space in a meaningful way. I love the idea of B2B and B2C, and it makes a lot of sense because those lines are blurred in a lot of spaces.”

To serve both audiences, the show will feature a highly curated B2B executive conference, as well as a large-scale consumer experience with exhibitions, workshops and product discovery — both of which will be supported by EVG’s investment for their development.

International Intentions

“We don’t invest in conferences — we invest in platforms. Phil and Carolyn bring complementary strengths: deep media reach, unmatched event-building experience and a clear vision for international expansion. Our role is to help transform The Longevity Show into a global franchise with durable economics and meaningful industry impact,” stated Marilú Páez, Co-Founder and Managing Director of EVG.

And the event is already gaining momentum internationally, with early interest from global partners across North America, Asia and the Middle East.

What EVG Investors Are Saying

“When you see people that are dedicated to a concept and to a community, it’s kind of contagious. I want to be able to go and help them. When you see people that are passionate about what they’re building and the community they’re serving, and the subject matter that they’re involved in, it becomes easier to want to back them through what is a really hard process [of launching an event],” said Fensterman. “I love seeing community come together and crystallize around something; it’s an energetic, exciting thing. Not to be too high-minded, but we’re in a world that’s quite splintered, and any time you can be a part of bringing people together around a shared passion or interest, that’s an incredibly important thing for our world and society.”

“I believe strongly in this founding team and in their timing. Longevity is no longer niche — it’s a fast-growing industry fueled by mission, innovation and real business demand. The Longevity Show blends that passion with a thoughtful B2B model, creating a platform that can grow with the market,” stated Greg Topalian, EVG Member and Founder of On Deck Ventures.

Fensterman shared that he and Topalian will be hands-on with the launch of The Longevity Show, helping to provide support and insights into priorities and milestones for the founders, as well as leveraging their extensive connections to help secure partners, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers.

Insights on Decision-Making at EVG

“What really separates the makers from the breakers at EVG when we review all these founders, I would say it comes down to a few things,” said Páez. “First, I would say, it is the founder’s passion. … The second is the founder’s credibility. Have they earned the right to lead this conversation through their experience? Track record and execution are critical for the members [to consider]. The third is the space in the market. In this case, there is a clear demand and realistic path to a sustainable business.”
