NEW YORK CITY — Events Venture Group (EVG) announced an investment in The Nest Campus, a growing climate and resilience platform. EVG co-invested alongside SilverCircle.

The Nest Campus operates across a multi-vertical resilience landscape — including energy, industrial transformation and infrastructure, AI, finance, food and water, and natural capital — and has positioned itself at the center of a rapidly evolving and fragmented ecosystem.

With more than 8,000 attendees and early traction across multiple verticals, the event seeks to be a new kind of ecosystem that brings together enterprises, innovators and capital across key resilience sectors under one roof.

EVG members highlighted several strengths in the opportunity, including:

  • Proven leadership with strong execution track record
  • Existing scale and audience validation
  • Clear expansion potential in a high-growth sector

“What stood out was the combination of strong early traction and a clear structural gap,” Marilú Páez, Co-Founder and Managing Director of EVG, said. “The resilience space is scaling fast, yet remains fragmented. The Nest is positioning itself as a convening layer across that fragmentation, which is exactly where we see the opportunity to build a platform with long-term strategic value. It reinforces our focus on backing early-stage, category-defining platforms in high-growth sectors. Each of our investments sits at the center of a major industry shift — AI, longevity, fintech — and The Nest adds resilience as a critical, cross-cutting theme. It also strengthens our positioning around platforms that aggregate complex ecosystems, which is where we see the most potential for durable value creation and future exits.”

EVG will support The Nest Campus through its network of experienced founders, entrepreneurs and event operators, sharing strategic guidance while allowing the event’s leaders to stay focused on execution.

“We are excited to have the support of the EVG brain trust, surrounding us with the global events leadership expertise we need to scale quickly and effectively,” Peter Gilmer, CEO of The Nest Campus, said.

“Jon Weiner championed this opportunity with a clear intention — to surround Peter and the team with EVG’s braintrust and help accelerate what is already a strong foundation,” Páez added. “That dynamic is powerful, because it’s not about one advisor — it’s about access to a collective of operators who have built, scaled and exited events at a high level. The Nest itself is exciting because of its intersectional approach — connecting energy, infrastructure, finance and technology into one marketplace. That creates real density and relevance across stakeholders. For EVG, this is also an opportunity to continue advancing our mission of becoming the go-to platform for emerging event founders — where they don’t just access capital, but a network that meaningfully increases their odds of success.

“Our model is intentionally founder-first. We don’t take control — we back operators and let them operate. Where we add value is through leverage at key moments. Instead of relying on a single advisor, founders can tap into a curated braintrust of experienced operators, bringing different perspectives across growth, monetization and scaling. This creates a level of support that is both practical and flexible — founders engage when needed, on the challenges that matter most, without losing speed or autonomy.”

This move underscores EVG’s commitment to backing category-defining platforms through strategic funding, expert mentorship and a collaborative community.

The Nest Campus joins EVG’s growing portfolio, which includes StableconQuantum World Congress and Deep Tech Momentum

“Beyond individual investments, our broader goal is to become a feeder for the industry — bringing forward the next generation of resilient, high-quality event platforms,” Páez said. “By identifying and supporting these projects early, we’re not just building a portfolio — we’re helping strengthen the entire ecosystem, creating more opportunities for founders, investors and industry partners alike.”
