Edlen Electrical VP Steven McMahon Dies

Las Vegas, NV – Steven McMahon, vice president of administration for Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services, died January 24 in Las Vegas. He was 52.

McMahon worked in the audio-visual field in Chicago and Miami before settling in Las Vegas in 1994. After spending three years working for GES Exposition Services at the Las Vegas Hilton, McMahon joined Edlen as vice president of administration in September 1997.

McMahon was active in the Exhibition Services and Contractors Association (ESCA) and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). He was a member of the board of directors of the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism, an industry organization that mentors Las Vegas high school and college students seeking careers in the trade show industry.

Funeral services are scheduled for February 2 at Hope Baptist Church in Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers contributions were requested for a trust fund Edlen established for the McMahons’ three youngest children, or to the American Cancer Society or Odyssey Hospice in Las Vegas.

McMahon is survived by his wife, Michell; children John, Kyle, Karson, Kaley and Konnor, and his mother and sister.
