Easyfairs continues to expand its North American footprint with the launch of Digital Accountancy Show USA, which will take place May 26-27, 2027, in Austin, Texas.
Already the U.S. edition is expected to see more than 2,000 attendees, 100-plus exhibitors, and feature more than five stages and 40-plus speakers.
The U.S. event will bring together accounting firms, in-house finance teams, software providers and strategic advisors in an immersive exhibition setting focused on sharing innovative ideas and technology and provide access to partnerships.
Building on Momentum
The launch builds on the success of the Digital Accountancy Show UK event, which is expected to attract more than 7,000 participants to its next edition.
Easyfairs acquired Digital Accountancy Show UK in the first quarter of 2025, and cited close alignment on Easyfairs’ “visit the future” and “community first” approach.
The Easyfairs team also saw the event’s growth potential, and recognized its own ability to help grow the brand with its international network, technology ecosystem and experience in building year-round community engagement.
“The launch of Digital Accountancy Show USA reflects that potential very directly. It shows that the acquisition was not only about continuing the growth of the UK event, but about expanding a future-focused brand into new markets where those same themes of innovation and transformation are equally relevant,” said James Howell, Co-Founder of the Digital Accountancy Show.
The launch also represents the increasing presence the organizer is building in North America, following its first acquisition in the region in late 2025, which brought Energy Projects Conference & Expo under its ownership.

Choosing a Destination
Easyfairs selected Austin as the host destination for the inaugural edition due to its being a fast-growing technological and business hub in the country, along with the market opportunity and launch potential.
“It sits within a large accounting market and is also one of the fastest-growing technology and business hubs in the U.S., with strong concentrations of SaaS, AI and professional services businesses,” said Dan Cockerton, Co-Founder of the Digital Accountancy Show. “That makes it a strong fit for an event centered on digital transformation in the accounting profession.”
The team also saw the opportunity to launch in a market with strong regional access, giving the city an advantage due to its market relevance, growth profile and venue sustainability.
Turning Disruption into a Competitive Advantage
While events in sectors seeing transformation driven by AI and other technological advancements are on the rise, the organizers who utilize tools to help personalize attendee and exhibitor experiences will deliver real value to participants.
Easyfairs is leaning into the ways AI can change the way it organizes events, including using it for audience targeting and content relevance to help people identify what will be most relevant for them onsite.
“It also means visitors and exhibitors often arrive better informed,” Howell said. “They can research more quickly, compare options more easily, and come to an event with clearer priorities. That tends to improve the quality of engagement.
“But AI does not replace trust. In sectors undergoing rapid change, people still want the validation that comes from meeting face to face: seeing solutions in action, testing assumptions, and building confidence in the people behind the products and services. So while AI helps make events smarter and more relevant, the live event remains essential because it provides the trust and human connection that digital tools alone cannot.”
