Diversified Communications to Launch Second UK Restaurant Equipment Show

Birmingham, UK – Diversified Communications is expanding its foothold in the British restaurant and foodservice market with its second launch in the sector in two years. Commercial Kitchen will take flight June 7-8, 2016 at NEC Birmingham.

Chris Brazier, group event director for Diversified UK, said the show would feature an estimated 100 exhibitors displaying equipment and services for a broad horizontal range of restaurants, hotels, caterers and institutional foodservice providers.

The creation of Commercial Kitchen comes on the heels of the successful launch of Casual Dining and Lunch! which debuted in 2014 and has twice received an Excellence Award from the Association of Event Organizers. The London show drew 3,600 attendees and 150 exhibitors this year and reported that 75% of those exhibitors rebooked on site for the February 24-25, 2016 show.

Diversified President & CEO Ted Wirth said the UK subsidiary had laid a solid foundation for the company in Britain’s expanding restaurant and foodservice market. “They worked closely with leading industry suppliers, distributors and operators to vet and develop their concept to address the unique business needs and buying cycles within the commercial kitchen market segment,” he said.
