CHICAGO — The spring deadline is approaching for nominations for Trade Show Executive’s first annual Trailblazers Awards, which will be presented to the most distinguished of the next generation of exhibitions leaders at the upcoming TSE Fastest 50 Awards & Summit June 13-15 at Chicago’s Hyatt Regency.
The deadline has been extended to March 16, giving show organizers additional time to single out the most rising of their stars.
The TSE Trailblazers Award showcases the top show executives who will literally be running the show in the not-too-distant future.
The 2017 Trailblazers cream of the promising crop will share their views from the trenches as part of a panel discussion led by Freeman President and industry thought leader Bob Priest-Heck.
“This will be a new opportunity for industry veterans to celebrate the trailblazing ideas that these up-and-comers are already contributing,” said TSE Publisher/Editor Gabrielle Weiss. “The Fastest 50 is all about the fastest-growing trade shows, but those shows are people-powered, and we look forward to learning from and sharing ideas with this group at our event in June.”
Nominations for the TSE Trailblazers Award will be accepted from senior show management. The goal is to find individual nominees who have demonstrated a level of ingenuity and initiative that has set them apart from the pack and contributed to the success of their show. The award celebrates both innovative programs and best practices that produced impressive results or created a memorable new experience.
