Core-apps Launches Registration Tool for Smaller Events

ARNOLD, MD —Maryland-based Core-apps has launched Badger Event Registration, a service aimed at servicing mid-tier conference and small event organizersand their customers.

“Not everybody can be the big trade show,” Core-apps CEO Jay Tokosch said. “Our bread and butter is the event that has either no exhibitors or less than 100 and they need someone to help with the registration side.”

Nearly 60% of the firm’s customers fall into this category, and Core-apps recognized a gap in the marketplace for providing them with this level of service.

“We needed to be the ones to fill it,” Tokosch added.“We know event organizers want innovative tools with a team to back it up. With Badger by Core-apps, you get a fully featured registration service and the industry’s leading event app, all powered by our customer care team.”

Badger rounds out the company’s existing offerings and is aimed at events ranging in size from 25 to 2,500 attendees. An integrated system, it is tailored to corporate meetings, educational conferences and events that do not have an expo presence or the need for a mobile app. The cloud-based platform is available to Core-apps customers and syncs with the company’s event management, mobile apps and analytics dashboard for a complete event technology ecosystem.

The system’s features include customized branding, membership management, badge printing, breakout session management, social media integrations, onsite technical support, analytics, product bundles and more.

“We wanted to make sure we were doing a good job taking care of events with small shows while providing a white-glove service and expertise they have been looking for and a seamless process they need without paying like it’s a big show,” Tokosch said.

Looking ahead, Tokosch said the firm’s goal is to continue to work with customers and develop new products to address their needs.

“We intend to continue to offer new game-changing features to Badger, including more mobile-first functionality,” he added.
