LONDON — CloserStill Media agreed to acquire UKI Media & Events, a UK-based company that operates trade shows, conferences and media properties specialized in the transportation sector internationally. The acquisition establishes CloserStill’s new Future Transport and Infrastructure Group and expansion into the U.S., European and Asian markets.
According to UKI Media & Events, the company organizes 17 specialized exhibitions, 12 conferences and the International Engine + Powertrain of the Year Awards, as well as produces 13 international magazines.
In the U.S., UKI Media & Events’ portfolio includes IVT Off-Highway Vehicle Technology Conference & Expo, Automotive Testing Expo, Automotive Interiors Expo, Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo North America and Package Fulfillment, Logistics and Delivery Expo among others. The company also runs shows outside of the transportation sector in association with divisions of the United Nations.

CloserStill Media operates their portfolios, which include Learning and HR Technologies, Medical & Healthcare, Technology, Veterinary and Hosted Buyer Events, in large cities in seven countries, like London, Berlin, Madrid, New York, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Singapore.

UKI Media & Events’ current staff of more than 90 employees will stay in Dorking, England, where the company’s headquarters are located.
