Baltimore, MD – Reed Travel Exhibitions’ launch of Americas Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings (AIBTM) received a boost this week when the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Convention Industry Council (CIC) announced they would co-locate their events at the inaugural AIBTM in June 2011.
The PCMA will hold its semi-annual education event at AIBTM, and the CIC will host its annual Hall of Leaders Gala at the same time.
“The decisions by PCMA and CIC to co-locate their conference and gala is a testament to the importance both organizations place on AIBTM,” said Craig Moyes, group exhibition director for Reed Travel Exhibitions.
AIBTM will launch June 21-23, 2011 and is projecting 300 exhibitors plus a crowd of around 3,000 attendees. AIBTM is also the base of America Meetings Week, the conference component of the exposition, which will also be held at the Baltimore Convention Center.
“We already work very closely with Reed Travel Exhibitions’ shows on their educational programs, so this link up is a natural and welcome fit,” said Debora Sexton, president and CEO of PCMA. “And June provides the ideal timing for the association and its members, as does the location in Baltimore.”
