TSE STAFF

Broadview, IL – Chris Williams was named president of CompuSystems, Inc., the registration and lead management firm founded in 1976. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and oversee the executive team.

He joined CompuSystems in 1996 and was promoted to director of sales in 1999. Under his leadership, sales nearly tripled. Most recently, in his role as senior vice president, Williams directed product development.

“This is an exciting time for CompuSystems,” Williams said. “We are about to launch our new brand and move into a new building that is conducive to developing software and servicing our clients collaboratively. We also have some new technology on the horizon that will take registration and business intelligence to a whole new level.”

Further details on the new products and the new lineup in the executive ranks were not revealed. CompuSystems is a dominant force in trade show registration and lead management. The company is the market leader among the Trade Show Executive Gold 100 list of largest U.S. trade shows. It was the registration contractor for 32 of the Gold 100 shows in 2013. Experient, a Maritz Travel Company, was second with 27 shows.

CompuSystems was formerly headed by Clark Williams, who  spent 33 years as president of the company based in suburban Chicago. Clark Williams was named chairman of the firm.
