Columbia, MD – Trade show attendees are now able to do their advance planning on Facebook by using a newly added ChirpE application.
ChirpE, recipient of a 2009 Trade Show Executive Innovation Award for its mobile phone application, relays information found on the show website to the show’s Facebook location. “This dramatically increases the reach of a show website and helps with audience acquisition and the delivery of greater value to exhibitors,” said Rajiv Jain, CEO of a2z, the developer of ChirpE.
Facebook users can also perform other tasks through ChirpE, including setting appointments, searching for exhibitors and accessing exhibit hall maps.
In addition, the application has viral marketing capabilities that Jain suggested would offer show organizers a new sponsorship opportunity.
The Facebook application is also integrated with Twitter, as is the mobile application.
Jain said the applications can be downloaded by users at no charge from the a2z show platform.
