Changes Atop Leaderboard at Reed’s Golf Shows

HIL ANDERSON, SENIOR EDITOR

Norwalk, CT – Senior Vice Presidents Ed Several and Yancy Weinrich have taken on new roles with Reed Exhibitions’ pair of premier PGA golf trade shows.

Several was named Senior Vice President Integration & Commercial Optimization-Reed Exhibitions Americas. He will report to Reed Exhibitions America Regional President Herve Sedky and continue to work with the long-term strategies and relationships involving the shows in the PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions portfolio. Weinrich took over Several’s role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the PGA portfolio.

The PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions portfolio includes two shows, the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando and PGA Fashion & Demo Experience in Las Vegas. The Merchandise Show closed January 27 after hosting more than 1,000 exhibitors and 41,000 attendees.

“I am excited to lead an established and strong PGA Show team already in place.  With a focus on delivering exceptional value at all levels, we will continue to develop new programming and enhance PGA Show Week in ways that will help drive the global business of golf forward,” said Weinrich.  “Both the golf and jewelry industries are collaborative and retail driven and I look forward to identifying new programs for our PGA Show customers.”

Weinrich’s new duties with the golf sector will not affect her responsibilities at the head of the Reed Jewelry Group, the company said. Since joining Reed in 2004, Weinrich has steered the growth of JCK Magazine and a series of JCK Luxury and JIS Events shows. Reed also confirmed that Marc Simon would remain as Event Director for PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions.
